Annotation:

Nobody knows the real depth of the Baikal Depression. A giant crack, filled with silt and sand for many kilometers down. The rift is almost to the very heart of the Earth, where its own life is bubbling. This life breaks out through Baikal with earthquakes, eruptions of underwater volcanoes, powerful emissions of deep gases and unusual flows of energy for our planet - all that is hidden in the depths of the Earth...

A person has always felt a special mystical aura of the lake-sea, it is not for nothing that different beliefs - Christianity, Buddhism and shamanism - have come together so closely in these places.

The first thing that everyone who comes to Baikal learns: the sacred lake has a soul.

Here, Baikal is treated as a person, each interpreting the truth in his own way: "if you take something from nature, you must compensate." At least with respect.

Lake Baikal is literally woven of secrets.

When pictures of winter Baikal were taken from space, the photos turned out to be strange: every year at the end of winter, during the melting of snow, mysterious circles of gigantic size appear on the ice of Lake Baikal.

The boldest hypothesis: these are traces of flying saucers landing on the ice.

The version of Russian scientists: mysterious circles are traces of methane emissions from the bottom of the lake.

The concentration of methane in the Earth's atmosphere is constantly increasing.

Many scientists associate global climate change and the melting of Arctic ice with this gas, the bulk of which is located at the bottom of the seas and oceans.

To confirm or refute this version, scientists conducted a unique study, taking advantage of the only chance when the ISS, the Mir deep-sea vehicles at the bottom and the ship on the surface of the lake coincided at one point vertically.
