There are no environmental standards for the space sector, however, a provision on environmental protection has appeared in the new state policy on space activities in Russia.

The whole world is preparing for a breakthrough in technology.

Reusable rockets are being designed, new types of ecological fuels and returnable rocket stages are being developed, for which it is not necessary to allocate fall areas.

Great hopes of the Russian cosmonautics are pinned on the Vostochny cosmodrome and such rockets as the Angara, which will operate on environmentally friendly components and ensure the use of the complex without harming nature.
