City Chkalov. Joint meeting Chkalovsky Regional Party Committee and Regional Council of People's Deputies in the Drama Theater named after Gorky, on the occasion of awarding of the Order of Lenin Chkalov. Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR Malenkov read out a decree awarding the Order and gives the Secretary of the Regional Committee of the CPSU DS Polyansky and the chairman of the regional executive committee AY Zhukov. DS Polyansky advocates a return statement. Malenkov presents the Order of Lenin and the gold medal "Hammer and Sickle" Heroes of Socialist Labor V. Telyakovskii, IA Burma, S. Tertichnomu.
