Annotation:

The film tells about the problems in the fishing industry and in particular those related to salmon fishing in Sakhalin. fishing vessels in the sea during the fishing season, spawning salmon off the coast of Sakhalin, fishermen on salmon fishing, fish canning fish factory on one of the Sakhalin kind of dead fish on the shore of Sakhalin work equipment for harvesting of dead fish, fish trade and canned fish in the shops, the kind of shelves in one of the shops, banks hammered with pollock, views of streets of Moscow, pedestrians and beggars on the streets, in shops line "Fish" and "Wine" in Moscow. In the film, newsreels: fishing Sakhalin fishermen in the 50's, the USSR Supreme Soviet session with the Minister of Fisheries N.I.Kotlyara in 1990.
