The film traces the stylistic peculiarities and traditions of Russian tombstones.

In the picture filming the following: types of monasteries and the adjoining areas including cemeteries, burial in the monastery with different tombstones, marble and bronze statues, crosses, chapels, monuments, tombs and monuments at Vagankov Mitinskoe and cemeteries.
