From July 28 to August 11, 1957 took place in Moscow VI World Festival of Youth and Students. Public events of the festival were day girls and demonstration under the slogan "For peace and friendship.

Temporary description:

VI-th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow. 9 th day of the festival - Day girls. Festival participants are presented with flowers, a youth ball in honor of the girls, fashion shows at the Central House of the Soviet Army. Rally participants of the festival at the Manege Square in Moscow on the day of 12 th anniversary of the atomic blast in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Speakers: J. Endicott, A. Maresyev, Japanese girl Hisako Nagata.
