Annotation:

Fifteen-year-old boy, John Smith, became known throughout the country during the war. Him, a young defense plant worker, was created by artist Anatoly Pakhomov and the picture-poster has become a symbol of fighting Leningrad. Appeared folk song "Vasily". The film tells about the everyday life of the veteran of work V. V. Ivanov, on their second meeting with the artist A. Pakhomov.
