House (2008)

On the night of 12 on May 13, 1956, Alexander Fadeev hardly slept. Insomnia and extreme nervous excitement he was persecuted for the past three years, and it sometimes seemed that he had died long ago, and he walks, speaks, acts before Soviet writers and workers, writes novels and articles, was not he but someone else, a stranger, an outsider. Taking the night ten "Nembutal" packages Fadeyev did not find the strength to get up for breakfast and asked for him to dinner. By one o'clock. Time passed unbearably slow. Compositionally, the film is built around the house in Peredelkino, where he lived, worked and put an end to the life of Alexander Fadeev. In the film, the sound of his last letter as a reflection of life - Civil War events and 30s, war and post-war devastation, the death of Stalin and the Twentieth Congress. This context - an attempt to show the diversity and contradictions of the personality of Alexander Fadeev.
