1. Moscow.

Seeing N.S. Khrushchev off on a trip to the USA at the invitation of Eisenhower. (archival footage from 1959).

Among the mourners: A.N. Kosygin, M.A.Suslov, L.I. Brezhnev and others. N.S. Khrushchev climbs the ladder of the TU 114 aircraft for a flight to Washington.

2. Washington.

Khrushchev's meeting at Andrews Airfield, located near Washington. (archival footage from 1959). N. Khrushchev is greeted with honors by President Eisenhower. N. Khrushchev, his wife and other family members descend the plane ramp.

Shakes hands with members of the U.S. Government.

He passes by an honor guard from various branches of the US military.

President Eisenhower delivers a welcoming speech. N.S. Khrushchev and his wife get into a car with Eisenhower.

The car is moving through the streets of Washington past the crowds meeting the head of the USSR. The greeters greet the heads of state with flowers and posters.

3. Novgorod region.

Pobeda State Farm.

Cornfields with two-meter-high bushes of corn.

Honored agronomist of the republic I.D.Velinskaya talks about the methods of growing corn.

Harvesters are harvesting sunflower fields.

Cowsheds and pigsties of animal husbandry.

Cows return to the cowsheds from the fields.

Classes at the agrotechnical school of the state farm are conducted by I.D.Velinskaya.

4. Rybinsk cable plant.

In the workshops of the plant, workers are working on the production of high-precision cables for the needs of television.

5. Kostroma.

A group of Moscow writers, led by the Chairman of the Council of Writers L. Sobolev, takes part in a meeting of writers of Kostroma, pays a visit to the base of the agricultural Institute Karavaevo.

6. Bryansk.

Inter-regional motorcycle racing.

Men's and women's motorcycle teams participate in competitions and overcome land and water obstacles.

The team of Kursk becomes the winner in the team competition.
