The film is about celebration of the 55th Anniversary of the Great October Revolution in Moscow.

Military parade and a workers' demonstration on Red Square on Nov. 7, 1972. Newsreel: moments of the parade in 1941 in Moscow; Victory Parade in Red Square in 1945, Marshal Zhukov toured army, Marshal Govorov consolidated regiment headed Leningrad front. Son LA Govorova, Colonel-General VL Govorov commanded a parade of 7 November 1972. Soviet Defense Minister Grechko takes parade; favor (synchronously) to the gathering from the podium of the Mausoleum. Troops, cadets of military schools, military equipment moving to Red Square are the columns of athletes, the protesters carrying placards and portraits of the leaders of the Party and government.
