People who work in films often have a very strange fate.

There are famous stars, everybody knows them.

There are actors who filmed a lot and were popular at some particular time.

And there are people who were shot constantly, but their names are unknown to anyone, remember only in person.

One of these people is dedicated to the release of the Soviet actor of theater and cinema Pavel Shpringfeld.

When the face of Paul Shpringfeld is shown, it turns out that everyone knows him, because his films, both early films and films of the last decade of his life, are still popular and beloved by the audience.

The make-up artist and the episode king, who passed the prison and the camps that severely undermined his health, but could not break his will, he died before 60.

Only at the end of his life he received the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR; was registered in the Theater-Studio of the actor and, in fact, lived a really very difficult life, although he was shot endlessly.

Recently in the Central House of Cinema took place the Evening of Remembrance of a forgotten artist who gave his life to the Soviet cinema without receiving anything in return and never demanding nothing.

The program included excerpts from the films "Hearts of Four" (1941, directed by K.K.Yudin), "Twins" (1945, directed by K.K.Yudin), "Ships storm the bastions" (1953, director M.Romm), "The Hussar Ballad" (1961, director E.A.Ryazanov), "Garnet Bracelet" (1964, directed by A. M. Rohom), "Gentlemen of Fortune" (1971, directed by A.I. Gray).
