In the 1980s, Georges Ntiamba came from Angola to the USSR to study, met Tatyana and her son from his first marriage, in 1987 Katya's daughter was born.

After studying, George had to return to his homeland and took the girl with him to show his parents, then promised to return, but he was not released from the country; soon the connection with Tatyana broke off.

Pavel left in August 2006 to work in Moscow, worked in a construction company, last called home on December 20, 2006 and promised to come celebrate with his New Year's family;  according to witnesses, the last time a young man was seen at the Kazan railway station.

Filming in the Lipetsk region: Yuri and Natalia Lotharev remember how they met Paul on March 20, 2007 on the road, drove to the village and left to work on his farm;  in early May, Paul wrote a letter home, then suddenly left without warning anyone.

Filming in the Rostov region: in January 2009, Pavel was detained near the Khapry station and was transferred to the police station in the village of Chaltyr; there he was given a certificate for the restoration of documents at the place of residence.
