The Sverdlov collective farm of the Uyghur district of the Alma-Ata region for success in the production of hybrid and varietal corn seeds was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
The first secretary of the Alma-Ata regional committee, Asanbay Askarov, presented the award to the chairman of the collective farm M. Nasyrov.
