Alma-Ata, on June 20, a rally was held at the House of Soviets in honor of the laying of the stone on the site of the future monument in honor of the conquerors of the virgin lands in Kazakhstan.
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR Salken Daulenov.
Also, M. Dovzhik, writer Sabit Mukanov, Secretary of the Central Committee of the LKSM of the Kazakh SSR Ye.
