The meeting of student groups took place on December 14, 1973 in the Lenin Palace.
The meeting was opened by the 1st Secretary of the Komsomol Central Committee of the Kazakh SSR Z. Kamolidinov.
The 6th meeting marked the 15th anniversary of the construction teams, the best teams were awarded with commemorative badges of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan and the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR.
The speakers were the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic M. Motoriko, the rector of the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute A. Omarov, the student of KazGU A. Abdrakhmanov.
