The meeting of cultural workers and public and political figures with the commander of the Central Asian Military District (SAVO), General Nikolai Lyashenko, took place on March 27, 1975 at the Alma-Ata Command School.

Artists, sculptors and writers were introduced to military equipment and weapons.

At the meeting, M. Isinaliev, K. Smailov, S. Khodzhikov, A. Alimzhanov, O. Suleimenov.
