Since 1965, more than 140 organic molecules have been discovered in interstellar space, including ethyl alcohol, formaldehyde and formic acid.

The guest of the program, Professor Georgy Managadze, proposed a new concept of the possibility of the emergence of primary forms of living matter in the processes accompanying the ultra-high-speed impact of a meteorite on the surface of the planet.

The concept of the origin of life on our planet is based on the results obtained by scientists of the ICI RAS in direct experiments and experiments in laboratory conditions.

The program was attended by employees of ICI RAS, MSU and GEOHI RAS, correspondent Ksenia Winter and local historian Nikolai Filin.
