The MASTER robot telescope network today includes five observatories located throughout Russia, from the village of Vostryakovo near Moscow to Blagoveshchensk in the Amur Region.

The unique position of our country allows the telescopes of the MASTER system to observe the sky of the northern hemisphere almost around the clock.

With the help of computers, the telescopes are integrated into a single information network, they are able to set scientific tasks themselves, perform them and exchange results with scientists around the world on the Internet.

How the MASTER system was created, what robot telescopes are exploring and when the technology will completely replace a person, says one of the creators of the MASTER, Evgeny Gorbovsky.
