Russian space № 36 "Buran" will return again (2012)

The last autumn month in the history of Russian cosmonautics is special.

In November 1976, the USSR decided to create its own reusable space system and gave it the name "Energia - Buran".

The spaceplane was commissioned to make the NGO "Molniya".

In November 1985, the first prototype took to the sky from the airfield in Zhukovsky, and three years later, in November 1988, the orbital Buran made its first and, as it turned out, last flight in automatic mode.

Oleg Dmitrievich Baklanov, Minister of General Mechanical Engineering of the Soviet Union, who was responsible for the preparation of the Energia -Buran program, is a guest of the program.
