Studio guest Bitov Andrey Georgievich - Russian Soviet writer.

Bitov Andrey 58 years old Petersburger in the fifth generation, strict intellectual, fell ill with literature at the age of nineteen, however, the first edition of his poems was lit for political reasons alone, from the authors of the banned almanac "Metropol", for many years his books were almost not published and only in 1986 Bitov Andrey was able to publish everything written.

The style of his works is aphoristic, the text is saturated, books: "Pushkin House", "Birds", "Man in the Landscape", "Waiting for Monkeys" according to critics, the author's monologue about anything, since ninety-first year the president of the Russian PEN-club.

The PEN-club defends the principles of unimpeded exchange of information within each country and between all peoples, its members undertake to oppose any suppression of freedom of speech.

Bitov Andrey talks about the work of a writer, publishing activities, his creativity, the writer Dostoevsky F. and modern literature.
