Vladimir Kovalenok is a pilot-cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel-General of Aviation, born in 1942 in Belarus.
Vladimir Kovalenok graduated from the Balashov Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots at the General Staff Academy.
