As a result, in the 5th grade, she enrolled in the school gymnastics section.

Her first coach was Mikhail Sotnichenko.

Thus, the best gymnast of the last century appeared on the sports arena.

Larisa Latynina has the largest collection of Olympic medals in the history of sports: 9 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals.

She is also famous for winning all the gold at the 1957 European Championships.
