On March 25, 2021, the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with the Fregat upper stage and 36 OneWeb spacecraft on board was successfully launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome.

This is the first launch from the Vostochny Cosmodrome this year.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin and Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin observed the launch along with Roscosmos Director General Dmitry Rogozin.
