Preparations for the launch of the Soyuz TMA-12M manned spacecraft are underway at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
The crew consists of Oleg Artemyev, Alexander Skvortsov and Stephen Swanson.
There are only a few days left before the start.
The crew will make the 119th manned flight of the Soyuz spacecraft and the 38th flight to the ISS, conduct 50 scientific experiments during 175 days of the expedition and return to Earth in September, handing over the orbital watch to their understudies.
