Cosmonautics. Updated Soyuz (2015)

A new Soyuz-MS series ship is being tested at RSC Energia. "MS" means upgraded systems.

The motion and navigation control system has been improved, communication with astronauts will be provided throughout the flight to the station, and upon return from orbit, the detection of the lander will take less time.

These and other features of the new Soyuz series were described by Alexander Gordyaev, Head of the Soyuz Design Department sector, and Vladimir Kalmykov, master of the Soyuz Main assembly workshop.
