The plot of Natalia Burtseva for the 40th anniversary of the docking of the Soyuz and Apollo ships on July 15, 1975.
The preparation of this experiment took 3 years, a universal docking mechanism, a special transition compartment and a single life support system were developed for the ships.
This meeting in orbit marked the beginning of an era of international cooperation in space.
