From the Baikonur cosmodrome, the Progress M-28M transport cargo ship went to the ISS. Permanent flights to supply the ISS with everything necessary, 4 "Progress" per year, began in August 2000. Over 60 starts have taken place in 15 years, of which only 2 failed.

The current Progress was launched a month earlier than planned, so as not to jeopardize the work of the ISS crew after an unsuccessful launch in April.

Interview about the launch of Progress: Deputy Head of the operational department of TsENKI Yuri Chichikalo, cosmonauts Alexander Kaleri, Sergey Krikalev, Roman Romanenko.
