RSC Energia is testing a prototype of the spacecraft of the future.
It will fly in tandem with the Angara-5A launch vehicle.
The transport system will replace the Soyuz launch vehicle bundle with the Soyuz TMA and Progress M ships.
The first unmanned launch of the new system is planned in 2021 from the Vostochny cosmodrome, and the first manned launch is scheduled for 2024.
Test cosmonauts Mark Serov, Evgeny Prokopyev, Oleg Artemyev starred in the story of Natalia Burtseva.
