The Cosmonautics Museum hosted the presentation of the book by Valentina Ponomareva "Cosmonautics in a personal Dimension".

The author was one of two understudies of the first female cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova.

Despite the fact that Valentina Ponomareva never visited space, she remained faithful to space science and always supported the recruitment of girls to the squad.

V.L. Ponomareva (Kovalevskaya) is a Soviet pilot, engineer, test cosmonaut, Candidate of Technical Sciences. Kondakova E.V. - pilot-cosmonaut, the third female cosmonaut in the history of the USSR, Hero of the Russian Federation. Tereshkova V.V. is the world's first female cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union, retired Major General, public and political figure. Kikina A.Yu. - hydraulic engineer, test cosmonaut, Master of Sports of the Russian Federation in polyathlon and rafting.
