In Yenakievo, the birthplace of cosmonaut Georgy Beregovoy, the anniversary of the legendary countryman was celebrated. 45 years ago, Georgy Beregovoy conducted a successful test of the Soyuz-3. This flight ended a series of accidents and catastrophes, and since then the Soyuz has established itself as the most reliable ship in the world.

The honorary guests of the holiday were Beregovoy's children, daughter Lyudmila and son Viktor, as well as cosmonauts Volkov, who held a space lesson at the city Technical Lyceum.
