Plot: On July 11, 2000, three Muscovites Andrei Kirillov, Denis Egorov and Sergey Denisov decided to drink beer near the Orekhovo metro station, at about 2 a.m., their acquaintances Zimin and Luzgin approached the guys and said that they had seen a fight near the Orekhovo Hotel.

Around 3:00 a.m., Egorov, Kirillov and Denisov went home.
They came across a bloody body of a man in the yard.

The young men were detained as suspects in the murder of Vladimir Pinchuk and taken to the police station.

After several hours of talking with investigators, Egorov D. pleaded guilty to the murder and signed the interrogation report.

According to them, it was Egorov, Denisov and Kirillov who first pestered them for no apparent reason and then began to beat Pinchuk.
