"Vendetta in Vologda" (car accidents).

The program is dedicated to the problem of the imperfection of the legislative system as applied to careless murders during accidents.

Drivers often escape responsibility by resorting to various methods of deceiving the investigation.

Sometimes these methods are suggested to them by lawyers who specialize in such cases.

The official investigation does not always strive to find the culprit, and this model of relationships between drivers, lawyers, relatives of the deceased and investigators looks like a kind of "Bermuda Triangle" in which entire criminal cases disappear.

Using several stories as an example, the program conducts its own investigation.

Several months ago, late at night, businessman Vladimir Ushakov was returning home to the village of Gremyachiy in the Vologda Region.

Together with Vladimir, his daughter Tatyana and pregnant wife Natalya were in the car.

On another section of the road, a car suddenly jumped out from around the bend, and a collision could not be avoided.

Having woken up after the impact, Vladimir discovered that his wife and daughter were seriously injured.

Having pulled his wife and daughter out of the car, Vladimir threatened the driver of the Gazelle, Yagodinsky Aleksandr, who had caused the accident, and his partner, Lukanin Andrey, that he would take revenge.

Vladimir's wife died that same night in a local hospital, and his daughter, Tatyana, was saved.

Experts who measured the braking distance of both cars determined that Aleksandr Yagodinsky, the driver of the Gazelle that had swerved out from around the turn, was to blame for the accident.

In addition, an examination revealed an unacceptable amount of alcohol in his blood.

The day after Natalia's death, unknown people took the guilty driver, Yagodinsky A., to a landfill, doused him with gasoline, and set him on fire; he died a day later.

His partner, Lukanin A., was attacked, but he managed to escape, shooting three attackers.

It soon became clear that the unknown attackers were friends of V. Ushakov.

Several years ago, V. Ushakov himself caused a serious car accident, during which a woman died.

Ushakov was found guilty, but received a short sentence.

According to the investigator who led the case, Ushakov decided on a vendetta, believing that the culprit of his wife's death would not be punished too harshly, or would not be punished at all.
