The pioneers harvest wheat with sickles and bind sheaves in the field, weed vegetables, introduce the villagers to the magazines "Pioneer" and "Young Leninist," and visit the zoo.

Young Communist League members from Pavlovo-Leninskaya village join the pioneers in collecting firewood for the school.
