"Northern Odyssey" (2007)

The film tells about the heroic work of the world's largest shipyard "Sevmash" in Severodvinsk.

The history of "Sevmash" is the history of a great country, the history of the achievements and victories of the Soviet people, drawn by the force of circumstances into an exhausting arms race.

It was thanks to "Sevmash" that the USSR managed to achieve strategic nuclear parity with the United States in the 1970s, and it was here that the best nuclear submarines in the world were built.

Today, the plant has recovered from the consequences of the wild 1990s and is back in service.
