"Laser Odyssey" (2009)

The film tells about the history the development of laser science and industry in Russia.

At the end of XX century, we were ahead in this field over the world for decades.

Even after the failed 90's, when the development in this area was not funded by the state, the domestic laser science and industry were advanced, thanks to a breakthrough, which they did in the 70s and 80s of the last century.

In the center of the story - the history and the present day industry leading enterprises: CDB "Ray" and NGO "Astrophysics".
