Annotation:

The film tells about the basic principles of hydraulic coal mining, the structure of a hydraulic mine, and hydraulic machines.

Reel №1

The cage in the face is lowered underground.

Mining coal heading machine.

Fastening the walls of the face.

A hydraulic monitor washes away coal.

Control panel for hydraulic coal mining.

Coal is transported in liquid form to the processing plant.

The method can be used in seams of varying thickness with an angle of incidence from 5-90 degrees, with a wide range of gas content in coal, in various mining and geological conditions.

A cartoon explaining the process flow diagram of a hydraulic mine.

At the processing plant, coal is separated from water and loaded into railcars for shipment to the consumer.

A pumping station for supplying water to the mine.

Pumps take water from the reservoir and, under high pressure, feed it through pipelines into the face to the mining machines, hydraulic monitors, and mechanical-hydraulic combines.

The pressure at which water is supplied to the hydraulic monitors.

Mechanical-hydraulic combine.

The pressure under which water is supplied to the combine.

In both cases, coal is transported from the face by water.

A cartoon showing a diagram of coal transportation by water.

The pulp flows by gravity.

Chutes through which the pulp flows.

A cartoon explaining the use of pressure hydraulic transport in remote workings.

Crushing large pieces of coal.

A coal suction method for lifting coal to the surface.

Centrifugal pumps that provide lifting.

A cartoon explaining a method for lifting coal to the surface using air.

Dismantling and moving a pipeline.

Installing a pipeline.

Examples of hydraulic monitors.

Hydraulic monitor design.

Hydraulic monitor nozzle in section.

Hydraulic monitor control is demonstrated.

Mechanohydraulic combine.

Reel №2

Operation of a mechanical-hydraulic combine.

Simultaneously with the extraction of coal, water is supplied to the combine crown.

The water prevents dust in the face and transports coal.

Remote control of the combine is demonstrated.

A cartoon showing how a mine field is mined.

Two-sided coal extraction.

A cartoon showing how a mine field is mined with a steep seam.

With this technology, a certain amount of coal is lost.

A cartoon explaining the solution to this problem.

Laying a flexible metal ceiling.

Coal production under the ceiling.

A cartoon explaining such production.

Hydraulic coal mining is carried out with short working faces.

A cartoon explaining multi-face operations.

Fastening operations in the face.

When the preparatory work is completed, the water from the first combine is turned off and fed to a parallel face, where the second combine begins to work.

Preparatory work is carried out in the first drift.

Rearrangement of pipelines.

Operation of the combine.

The worker supervises this work.

Mine control panel.

Closed water supply cycle.

The cage rises to the surface.
