Annotation:

The film, created by order of the Methodological Office for Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, shows and explains all the methods of cold and hot stamping of metal parts.

Reel №1

Presses are operating in the workshop.

Stamping of machine body parts.

Sheet stamping.

A multi-position press makes machine parts from a metal strip.

When stamping on such presses, parts are made in several successive operations performed in simple dies.

Multi-position presses are fully automated units that can manufacture both simple parts and highly complex ones.

Manufacturing a bearing separator in a press.

Manufactured parts.

The finished part is issued from the last position after each stroke of the press, which operates in automatic mode.

Manufacturing a car brake chamber housing on a multi-position press.

A roll with a metal strip is installed on the unwinder.

The tape is fed to the first position using feed rollers.

At the first position, the blank is cut out, which is fed by a slide device to the drawing die.

A grab device that automatically transfers the blank from position to position.

Parts exit from the last position of the press.

Device for cold stamping with elastic materials.

These units are used to produce thin-walled parts of complex configuration from sheet or tubular blanks.

A cartoon explaining the process of liquid stamping.

After preliminary expansion, the final calibration of the part is performed by upsetting, applying force to the ends of the blank.

Continuation of the cartoon explaining the process of liquid stamping.

A sample of the part after such stamping.

Small parts, such as pulleys with one corrugation, are best stamped using rubber.

A cartoon explaining the process of stamping a pulley in this way.

The finished part.

A press for producing parts by rotary extrusion.

A hollow blank is placed on a rotating mandrel.

The part is formed by shifting the volumes of metal by rollers parallel to the vertical axis of the rotating mandrel.

A cartoon explaining the process of rotary extrusion.

The concepts of direct and reverse extrusion.

The mechanism for processing a part by cold working.

Reel №2

Samples of parts obtained by cold volume stamping.

A cartoon explaining cold extrusion schemes.

A cartoon showing the deformations that can occur with this extrusion method.

To reduce the friction coefficient, special technological coatings are applied to the workpiece.

Phosphating with subsequent saponification.

Stamping of parts with such a coating.

A cartoon explaining the effect of such a coating.

The process of cold stamping of the valve rotation mechanism housing.

The blanks, which have undergone annealing and technological coating, are loaded into the first operation die.

The second operation performs the final stamping of the part, which has a complex geometric shape and precise dimensions.

Samples of parts after this operation.

A cartoon explaining the difference in processing the same part using different methods.

The sequence of manufacturing mass-produced parts on an automatic line.

Samples of processed products.

Machine for obtaining toothed profiles.

The rolling method.

A cartoon explaining the process of spline formation.

Spline processing by cutting.

Cartoon showing the structure of metal when a part is processed by cutting and cold rolling.

Reel №3

Manufacturing gears with finished teeth.

A special gear-rolling machine equipped with an induction heating device.

During the rolling process, inert gas is supplied to the working area to prevent scale formation.

Finished products.

Automated crank hot stamping press.

Cut rolled products are fed into the induction furnace for heating.

After heating, the products are transported to the press for stamping.

Then the flash is trimmed.

Shop panorama.

Press for hot extrusion stamping.

Heated products are fed from the induction furnace to the hot stamping press.

Cartoon explaining the hot extrusion stamping process.

Hammer processes parts.

Part after hammer processing.

Unit for manufacturing parts using the rotational forging method.

CNC radial forging machine.

Depending on the shape of the product, the operator adjusts the machine and sets the program.

The heated workpiece is installed in the clamp of the radial forging machine.

Independently acting dies process the part according to the specified program.

Cartoon explaining the machine operation.

The processing of a complex stepped shaft takes place in two settings.

Samples of parts obtained by stamping.
