Annotation:

The film examines in detail the rules of conduct for workers and production managers to ensure that work is carried out without injury. The film may be useful not only for workers of the Ministry of Transport Construction, but also for workers of the Ministry of Railways when replacing old railway tracks.

Reel №1

Workers are going on shift.

Freight trains with rail sections installed on sleepers.

Track fitters are coming.

The foreman checks whether the rail and sleeper grid links are loaded correctly and also makes sure that the packages are securely fastened.

The condition of the packages and tightening of the ties must only be checked at train stops.

The worker tightens the tie.

The worker climbed on top of the package with rail and sleeper grid links.

Before the train started moving, the foreman forbade the worker to stay on top while the train was moving.

The rules prohibit people from riding on the platforms of a track-laying train.

A rest compartment for track layers.

The worker left his bag on the platform.

The train arrived at the work site.

The foreman gives instructions to the workers and track laying begins.

When tightening packages, it is dangerous to come closer than 10 m to the working cable.

The worker saw the abandoned bag and took it off the moving package, thereby violating safety rules.

To prevent accidental derailment, brake shoes are installed, as required by safety regulations.

The track layer stopped correctly, three sleepers short of the end of the last link.

The foreman recalls the violation of safety regulations by one of his workers, who climbed under the tractor with the engine running.

The movement of the link being removed can only be guided using inventory hooks or ropes with hooks.

In this case, it is necessary to strictly maintain a distance, it is dangerous to approach the link being moved closer than 1 meter.

It is forbidden to be near the working track layer.

The worker enters the space between the link and the track layer tractor, which is a gross violation of safety regulations.

Before lifting the link, it is necessary to make sure that there are no objects on it.

The foreman reprimands the worker for the violation.

Reel №2

The track layer may only move on command from the work supervisor, having given a warning signal.

If it is necessary to lay the track and sleeper grid on curves steeper than 800 meters or on slopes greater than 0.009 meters, then the train must be pulled onto a straight section or a flatter curve to tighten the packages.

It is prohibited to be in the car body when unloading ballast.

To prevent the joint sleepers from tearing off and, consequently, causing an accident, they are securely fastened.

Track lifting.

Before starting it, the work supervisor must inspect the section.

Forgotten objects can not only interfere with the operation of the electric ballast, but also cause injury to the track fitters.

Being near the working parts of the machine, you expose yourself to danger.

The work supervisor must ensure that there are no people in front of or behind the dispenser wings while the electric ballast is operating.

It is prohibited to be near the grid when lifting the track and sleeper grid.

The machine operator must follow the commands of the work supervisor or a specially assigned signalman only.

The electric ballast's working parts must be secured during its travel.

This is an important point for both worker and traffic safety.

The sleeper tamping machine can be controlled remotely.

When working with the sleeper tamping machine, care must be taken to ensure that its gripping levers are positioned with their protrusions under the rail soles.

It is prohibited to transport people on the sleeper tamping machine.

The power station must be installed 2 meters from the outer rail.

Special care must be taken when handling the electric cable; it must not be allowed to twist, twist, or stretch.

The foreman may only allow workers who have special permission to connect the electric cable.

The body of the power tool must be grounded; if voltage is detected on it, work must be stopped immediately.

When working with the electric sleeper tamping machine, the body must be kept slightly tilted forward, without subjecting the tool to sharp impacts; the condition of the cable must also be monitored.

When moving to an adjacent section, the power tool must be turned off and the mobile power station stopped.

Smoking and open fire are prohibited during fueling of power plant tanks.

Fueling may only be performed with the engine turned off.

Safety briefing for workers.

One of the workers does not listen to the instructor.

Your safety is guaranteed by the reliable installation of the grippers when lifting the grates.

Test lifting of the block.

The work manager and foreman must ensure that the distance between the rotating part of the crane and the objects surrounding it is at least 1 meter.

Jacks must be installed on a solid base, lifting must be performed simultaneously from all sides.

The worker who did not listen to the briefing violated safety rules and was hospitalized.
