Historical background:

November 2, 1958 at the Central Stadium. Lenin took the cup finals of the Soviet Union national football teams between Moscow Spartak and Torpedo. We won soccer "Spartacus" (1:0). After this match there was another contest on the national championship in football. November 8 players met Spartak Moscow and Dynamo Kyiv. "Spartacus" Moscow scored a double victory: they became champions of the country and won the Cup of the Soviet Union national football team.
