1 June 1965 at the Neva Dubrovka of Leningrad in the ruined dugout were found the remains of a warrior and the decayed field bag with the documents of the company and eleven letters, written in November 1941. The authors of the film decided to learn the name of him who was found in the dugout, to learn the fate of people who have written these letters. This search story about the fate of these people and is dedicated to the movie.
