A sleigh with warriors is riding across a snow-covered field.

The stove is being heated.

A child's leg appears from under an animal skin.

The child crawls out yawning.

The muzzle of a horse chewing hay.

The boy puts on foot wraps and bast shoes.

The child has eaten and leaves the hut.

The boy dresses for a long journey.

He takes the sleigh, loads a sack and walks through the forest.

Warriors are riding through the forest.

The child watches the warriors.

The warriors gather people in the village and take them to the river to be baptized.

The boy walks past an idol, a crow is sitting on it.

The boy continues on his way, comes to one of the huts.

A healer lives in it, to whom the boy gives a sack of oil cake.

A girl with a tame mink.

The decoration of the healer's home.

The boy received medicine for his horse and leaves.

The girl complains of hunger.

An old woman picks fleas out of the girl's hair.

A boy is seen leaving through the window.

A dead person is burned at the stake.

The vigilantes cut a Jordan River in the ice to baptize the villagers.

A woman wipes a baby's bottom with snow after he has pooped.

The vigilantes gather people.

They caught a boy named Proshka.

The priest prepares for the baptism.

A man is baptized in cold water.

The woman runs away.

The next man drowns.

The baptized people warm themselves by the fire.

The priest stands near the Jordan River.

The boy continues on his way.

A cross has been erected in the village.

A river flows among icy stones in the forest.

Children play on the bank, calling for Proshka.

The boy played with them and then carried the medicine further.

He was met by an aggressive boy who wanted to beat Proshka.

Proshka burst into tears and asked to let him through to treat a sick horse.

Both boys went together to treat the horse.

Together with the groom, they began to make an enema for the horse from the medicine.

The treatment is over.

The children play and run through the forest.

They run to the ice hole to look for the kikimora.

A cross in the village.

A man carries a bundle of firewood, stops and looks at the cross.

Proshka catches fleas in his hair.

The warriors take the wooden idol away from the village.
