Disaster at sea.

Newsreel footage taken on an English submarine which, shortly afterwards, was unable to surface in Liverpool Bay due to a malfunction in one of its systems.

The submarine sinks to the bottom, a cylinder is released from the hatch, it floats to the surface, marking the site of the disaster.

Rescue operations at the site of the disaster.

A bathyscaphe is lowered from the English ship to the surface of the submarine.

The sailors climb into it through the hatch, the bathyscaphe is lifted on board the vessel.

Upon arrival at the port, ambulances await the wounded, and relatives await the rescued sailors.

The Yugoslav Prince Regent Paul drives in an open car along Unter den Linden in Berlin through the Brandenburg Gate.

The city's residents greet the guests.

The car stops at the pantheon, troops are lined up nearby.
