USA. A panorama of the evening city, the lights go out.

An unemployed man is sitting on a bench in the park USA. A room, a young man is lying on the bed, thinking about something.

He gets up, goes to the piano, and starts playing.

An image of a girl appears in his imagination.

He goes to the window, looks at the windows of the neighboring house.

Then he returns to the piano again, writes down the melody that came to his mind USA. The young man runs along the balcony between the two houses to the girl's balcony, knocks, but it's too late and no one opens the door.

He writes a note, puts it in the window, and returns to his room.

The young man sits down at the piano again and dreams of conducting a famous orchestra performing his new work, "Metropolitan Nocturne"
