The film depicts the Nazi occupation of Krakow as some kind of idyllic "cultural trade", and the German occupiers as something like tourists.

The types of non-Aryan population are deliberately repulsive, the Jews are depicted as dirty ragamuffins and traders, which sharply dissonate with the appearance of the ancient beautiful city.

Thus, the film is a typical example of Nazi propaganda.
