Annotation:

Part One - Childhood.

Chronicle of the 1941-1945s: abandoned military equipment and cars on the roadsides, captured Russian soldiers marching in columns, accompanied by German soldiers, standing behind barbed wire, a bazaar and bartering of goods, German soldiers resting: eating, washing, cleaning their clothes, bombed-out cities and dead people.

Moscow 1941: people dig trenches, sign up as volunteers, march on Red Square, set up anti-tank hedgehogs.

Chronicle of 1945: tired Russian soldiers walk through ruined Berlin, wounded on stretchers, guns fire, battle rages, destroyed buildings, Victory Day celebrations, Red Army soldiers dance in Berlin, locals stand in line for food, German prisoners, fireworks on Red Square.
