English lessons in a Moscow school classroom; children speak English (synchronously) in physics, history and other subjects. A children's choir sings a song in English. Children examine exhibits in the Central Lenin Museum; a boy guide gives a tour of the museum in English. Children speak English in classes at the school's literary and drama club. Ballerina M. Plisetskaya talks to children. Scenes from plays staged by schoolchildren. The participants in the play speak English (synchronously). Photos of actors from the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre under the direction of director P. Brook. A Soviet schoolchild reads Hamlet's monologue in English (synchronously). Members of the delegation of English schoolchildren, having arrived in Moscow, talk to schoolchildren.
