The special edition "

Coup"

presents an hour-by-hour chronicle of the coup d'etat in Russia in August 1991. It shows the general situation in Moscow, troops on the streets of the city, the construction of barricades, popular unrest, interviews with representatives of the armed forces and participants in the rallies, the work of the radio station of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR. It provides a description and criticism of the actions of the State Emergency Committee, general reports of parallel events in Leningrad and the Baltic region.

The program also includes fragments of a press conference with members of the State Emergency Committee, interviews with famous politicians and prominent public figures.
