St.
Petersburg director Lev Dodin came to Moscow with three new productions based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel "Demons".
Reflecting on political events in Russia, he says that a person, having received a small amount of freedom, was not ready for it, which is why there is a great desire to return to past dependencies.
He examines Dostoevsky's works in the context of modern events.
He talks about their relevance.
Lev Dodin expresses confidence that the theater, emotionally influencing a person, is able to change his worldview, encouraging mercy, kindness, and nobility.
