Petersburg director Lev Dodin came to Moscow with three new productions based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel The Possessed.

Speaking about political events in Russia, it means that a person, having received a small part of freedom, was not ready for this, and therefore there is a great desire to return to past dependencies.

He considers Dostoevsky's works in the context of contemporary events.

He talks about their relevance.

Lev Dodin expresses confidence that theater, emotionally influencing a person, is able to change his worldview, prompting to charity, kindness, nobility.
