Shows large industrial enterprises of the 1970s (Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station, Kama Automobile Plant, automobile plant in Tolyatti), mechanized livestock complexes, construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline and the Orenburg-Western Border oil pipeline, the nuclear icebreaker Sibir, oil fields in Siberia, agricultural harvesting equipment in the fields, irrigation systems, construction of residential buildings, medical institutions, schools, a meeting of the leaders of the party and government of socialist countries in Crimea, the European Conference on Security and Cooperation in Helsinki, and a speech by General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee L.
